The seventh annual NBER Economics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Conference was held on September 22, 2023 in Toronto, Canada.  The conference, which is made possible by the generous support of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, showcased research on a broad range of AI-related issues. It was co-organized by NBER researchers Ajay Agrawal, Joshua Gans, and Avi Goldfarb of the University of Toronto, and Catherine Tucker of MIT.  Papers from the sixth conference are available at:
